Georgia Overdose Prevention

NCHRC works with Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition to expand naloxone access to people who need it across Georgia. 

Between April 24, 2014 and April, 2016:

  • 419 opioid overdoses have been reversed in the community members
  • 48 opioid overdoses have been reversed by Law Enforcement
  • 1159 Kits distributed
Locations to pick up your overdose rescue kits in Georgia are:

Atlanta: Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition (AHRC) 10 am-5 pm

Marietta and the North Atlanta Suburbs: By appointment only with AHRC Volunteer Laurie Fugitt
